TREVOSE, PA – October 28, 2019 – Active Day, the leading provider of adult day health centers in the United States, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Person Centered Services (PCS) with 15 locations across Ohio. The PCS family of services will join ten other Active Day centers in the state.

The PCS acquisition marks the continued expansion of Active Day services to individuals living with developmental disabilities in Ohio. The Company had previously acquired centers in Hamilton and Cuyahoga counties. This new acquisition adds to its portfolio 15 centers with a focus on providing individuals with a path to employment and greater independence through the meaningful and purposeful provision of vocational, educational and social opportunities. With this deal, Active Day also assumes operations of the PCS transportation fleet, which provides daily transportation services to their individuals, as well as to other providers in the state.

“We are thrilled to make this continued investment in Ohio,” stated Active Day. “We look forward to sharing best practices so we can better serve individuals living with disabilities across the state.”

While the PCS centers will retain their name, they join Active Day with a common mission – to provide the highest quality care through fun and engaging communities built on love and trust. Active Day warmly welcomes the employees, individuals and caregivers into the Active Day family.
