What Are Adult Day Services?

Active Day provides an engaging environment that offers socialization, activities, meals, care, and compassion to all adults and aging seniors with various physical and cognitive needs.

We staff our Centers with healthcare professionals who assist our members with daily living activities while ensuring proper and personalized care.

The Brighter Side of Caring

Our goal is to provide our members with the highest quality of comprehensive care while offering them respect and independence. We provide these services through nursing supervision and personal care, fun and engaging activities, nutritious meals and snacks, and the arrangement or service of door-to-door transportation. We truly help our members lead an active day.

Nursing Supervision

Ensuring medical treatments and medication administration is accurate and properly supervised

Personal Care

We assist with personal care needs so our members are able to look and feel their best

Fun & Engaging Activities

From Bingo to field trips, we keep the daily activities diverse, fun, and engaging, so members enjoy coming back every day

Meals & Nutrition

We offer nutritious meals and snacks while paying close attention to allergies and dietary restrictions

Getting To and From the Facility

Transportation Options

There are various options for transportation to and from our facilities. Transportation options varies between centers, so please be sure to check with your specific location for available options.

Active Day Fleet

Our fleet of vehicles or secure 3rd party provider will coordinate member pick-up and drop-off from home

Caregiver Transportation

Family members are welcome to drop off and/or pick-up their loved ones at the center.

Center Drivers

Some of our centers offer complimentary transportation for medical appointments to members and non-members who qualify in the community

Pricing & Billing

How Much Does Adult Day Care Cost? Possibly Nothing.

Private pay fees are dependent upon factors such as the state, level of care and funding eligibility. Funding is available through Medicaid, long-term care insurance, the Veteran’s Administration, and various other state and county grants and programs. Our Center Directors can discuss funding options and help determine your eligibility and options for support.

General Cost

There is a standard enrollment fee for all members admitted to Active Day, except for those on Medical Assistance.

Insurance & Funding

Some insurance providers and Medicare policies cover senior services. We work to bill insurance providers directly and ensure claims are processed.

VA Benefits

Active Day is contracted with the Veteran’s Administration to provide home care services at our Centers. Reach out to your local office for more details.
