Active Day Indiana Centers Receive Three-Year CARF AccreditationMay 23, 2018
Active Day is pleased to announce that the five adult day health centers in Indiana – Fort Wayne, Indianapolis Northwest, Indianapolis South, Merrillville and Mishawaka – received accreditation for a period of three years for their Community Integration programs. This latest accreditation is the second consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that CARF, the international accrediting body, has awarded to the Indiana Active Day centers.
By pursuing and achieving accreditation, Active Day has demonstrated that it meets international standards for quality and is committed to pursuing excellence.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation puts itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrates to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs are of the highest quality, measurable and accountable.
Active Day provides the highest quality personalized care to seniors and adults with special needs through fun and engaging communities built upon compassion and trust. Each of our adult day health centers enables frail, elderly and disabled adults to live at home and remain independent in their communities, while receiving health care and supervision during the day, as well as providing relief and respite for caregivers.
