Active Day Celebrates National Family Caregivers MonthOctober 29, 2018
TREVOSE, PA – October 29, 2018 – Active Day, the leading provider of adult day care services in the United States, salutes and honors caregivers everywhere as Active Day begins a month-long celebration of National Family Caregivers Month.
The Caregiver Action Network (the National Family Caregivers Association) began promoting national recognition of family caregivers in 1994. President Bill Clinton signed the first NFC Month Presidential Proclamation in 1997 and every president since has followed suit by issuing an annual proclamation each November, recognizing and honoring family caregivers. .
“This special month is a great reminder for us to honor the families of our members and recognize the hard work that goes into being a caregiver,” says Bob Creamer, Chief Executive Officer. “At Active Day, we realize that equally as important as the impact we provide by creating a loving and trusted environment for our members, is the fact that this allows caregivers some rest in knowing their loved ones are safe, active and happy.”
Active Day prides itself on taking a thoughtful, attentive approach to providing health care supervision, engaging therapeutic activity programs and rehabilitative therapies in a comfortable, homelike environment. We are focused on providing peace of mind for everyone involved, members and caregivers alike.
