ABOUT US
Active Day Inc. was founded in 1995 with the goal of
creating a nationwide network of community-based health care
services to meet the needs of the frail elderly, disabled adults and
their caregivers. Since then Active Day Inc. has created
the largest network of adult day health services centers, in-home
personal care companies and outpatient rehabilitation facilities in
the country. This network provides adult day health services to over
2,800 clients per day.

Meet the Senior Management Team
Kris Baldock
CEO
Mr. Baldock joined the company in April 2005. Mr. Baldock has over 30 years of
healthcare leadership experience encompassing all aspects of geriatric care.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Baldock was President/CEO of FutureCare
Health and Management Corporation. Mr. Baldock's experience also includes
senior management positions with Meridian Healthcare, Beverly Enterprises
Retirement Division and ARA Healthcare. Mr. Baldock previously served on the
Board of Directors of the Health Facilities Association of Maryland and
the Indiana Healthcare Association. He has also served on the Governor’s
Long-Term Managed Care Advisory Board. Mr. Baldock holds a B.S. in Management
from Ball State University.
Melanie P. Cox
Vice President for Operations
Ms. Cox, a nurse, joined Active Day in June 2005 having over 40 years of
experience in the development and implementation of clinical and operational
processes to provide creative and innovative systems for the care of the elderly
and adults with long term health care needs. Previously she held senior
management positions with FutureCare Health and Management Corporation,
ElderHealth, Manor Care and Meridian Healthcare. She also was in the academic
environment for 14 years. Ms. Cox has been a speaker at numerous local, state
and national conferences and seminars. She has also participation on national
radio programs, several nationally sponsored research projects and has
published.
Victoria Semanie
CFO
Ms. Semanie joined Active Day in April 2008. She has over 17 years
experience in the health care industry. Prior to joining Active Day, Ms. Semanie was the chief financial officer for various community hospitals and
worked as a consultant on performance improvement projects. Ms. Semanie is a
certified public accountant and started her career in the audit practice of an
international accounting firm.
